Chapter One Part One

Maria's POV
The warm may evening air loomed around me as I walked through the venue to the concert area. West Wind my wolf walked close to me. I smiled and pet her softly. She licked my fingers and I giggled to myself quietly. I walked closer to the venue and I saw a guy, playing with his cell phone. He was really cute. He had long black hair that came down passed his shoulders. His brown eyes were lined heavily with dark black eyeliner. I backed away slowly; afraid that he would see me so I hid in the bushes. 'What is this strange feeling that I feel?' I asked myself. I wanted to get closer. I walked out from behind the bushes. I could feel West Wind tug on my dress with her mouth. It was her way of telling me that she wanted us to leave, but I had never been this close to another human before and I found him fascinating.

I walked closer to him. He didn't notice me. He was too involved in his phone. A car came speeding by. I gasped and dodged it by running over and hiding in the bushes again. I peeked out over at him again. He saw me. I walked out from behind the bushes. I looked up at him. Our eyes met and I could feel like there was something between us. I smiled warmly at him and he tried to approach me. That was when things took a turn for the worse. Before I could react, West Wind growled and pounced on him; knocking him to the ground.

"West Wind No!" I yelled as I pulled her off. I looked at West Wind; she looked up at me with her huge puppy wolf eyes. She whimpered at me. " Mierda" I snapped to myself. Again West Wind looked up at me.  I looked at the guy's leg. Thankfully there was no damage but I knew that if I had left her there the guy's leg would have been torn up.

"Are you okay?" I asked as I extended my hand. He looked at me for a few seconds and then took it. "Are you okay?" I repeated as I pulled him to his feet; he wobbled slightly before he regained his balance. "Yes I'm fine" He finally answered. I wanted to help him but I was afraid; afraid of being this close to him and afraid that West Wind would attack him again. I turned around and took off running in the opposite direction. West Wind running very close at my heals.


Ronnie's POV
I watched as the girl ran away. I didn't know what to think of her other than the fact that she as a little weird. But also she was very beautiful. She had wavy light brown hair that came down to her shoulders, soft brown eyes and a subtle brown complexion. She was obviously of Spanish decent. I wondered why she had run away from me. I shook my head trying to forget about what had just happened. I looked down at my jeans. They were torn from where her psycho wolf had attacked me. But thankfully there wasn't any blood. I was really thankful for that. I walked back inside the concert hall to be with the rest of my band. I walked back inside the concert hall to be with my band.


Maria's POV
I reached the mountains where I lived with the rest of the wolf pack. My heart was beating rapidly from all the running. I couldn't explain it but I wanted to see that guy again. For some reason I felt different around him and I didn't know why. I sat down on one of the rocks. A few of the other wolves walked over to me. I pet them on their heads and they licked my fingers. I smiled and one of them jumped up on me and licked my face. I giggled and the wolf continued to lick me. Even though I lived with a bunch of wolves I still had to admit that I had a really good life. I loved being with the wolves up here. It made me feel special, in a way that I couldn't explain in words. I loved them and they loved me. They were my family.

I sat there and looked up at the stars. "It's a beautiful night tonight isn't it West Wind?" I asked. She walked over and licked my foot. I smiled and pet her on the head. "Yeah I think so too" I answered as I lay down and began to dream.
