Beauty and the Beast -An Andley Fan fic – Chapter 5

Ella’s POV
“Andy, this is Adrian” I answered.  “N-Nice to meet you” He answered. It was obvious that he was scared of Ashley right now. Fear was an emotion that I could work with. I glanced over at Ashley. He was just staring at Andy. It was a mixture of heart break and fear. I could imagine why. He was terrified that Andy wasn’t going to like him. “Andy you want to see the garden?” Ashley asked. “Uhm, sure” Andy answered. He looked at me and I nodded.

Andy followed Ashley outside, and I followed them. “Wow it’s so beautiful” Andy answered. I smiled. I glanced at Ashley. He was watching Andy play in the flowers. Ashley walked over to the fountain.

Ashley’s POV
I looked inside the fountain at my reflection in the water. I nearly freaked myself out at my own reflection. No wonder Andy was so afraid of me when he got there. My skin was really pale, paler than it had ever been. My face looked as if it had been mauled by something with large claws. Near the corner of my bottom lip on the right side of my face there was a red-ish purple scar that reached up my cheek. On the left side I had a patch of skin in the middle of my cheek that resembled a burn. Some of the flesh near my jaw bone was peeling off.  Under my right eye there was a claw mark that reached slant ways down my cheek.  Under my left eye there was a bloody gash there. “I’m a monster” I answered quietly to myself.

My eyes were red, blood red. My eyes alone would’ve been enough to scare him shitless. I can only imagine the effect that my face had on him. ‘Ella could give me until the end of time and there is no way that he will fall in love with me’ I thought to myself. I looked up at Andy. He was still playing in the flowers. I smiled at his adorableness. He was lying in the discarded flower petals and picking up handfuls and throwing them up in the air. I giggled when a few landed on his face and he cringed a bit. God I wanted him so bad. He heard me laughing and looked at me. “What’s so funny?” He asked a smile was on his face. “The petals fell on your face. It was cute” I answered. I blushed as I spoke.

He laughed and picked up a handful of petals and threw them at me. “Oh it’s on now” I answered. I picked up a handful of petals and chucked them. They hit him in the face. He giggled. He did the same for me. I glanced over at Ella and she walked inside I guess she wanted us to have some alone time. We played like that for I have no idea how long.

I was glad that it didn’t take very long for him to open up to me. But I couldn’t deny that this would be so much easier if he already loved me.  But he didn’t know who I was right now and I doubted that he loved me anyway. Getting him to love me wasn’t going to be easy that was for sure.

After a few more minutes of petal throwing, Andy collapsed on the mound of petals and looked up at the sky. I walked over and sat down next to him. “You okay?” I asked. He nodded. “Just a little tired from all that fun” He answered with a grin. He looked around at the garden again. “It’s so beautiful out here” He answered. “I know isn’t it? I could stare at it for hours” I answered. “You know you kind of remind me of someone” Andy answered after a long silence.

“Oh really who?” I asked. “This guy that went to my school, he was perfect in every way. His name was Ashley. He was the most amazing person I had ever laid eyes on” He answered. I smiled a bit. “It sounds like you like him” I answered. “I kind of did. And I think that he kind of liked me back, a little bit-ish” He answered as he looked up at the sky again. “Of course he liked you” I answered.

Andy smiled at that. “You know I actually kind of miss him a little bit. I mean I saw him earlier today but something about him just makes me like him” Andy answered sweetly as he continued to stare at the clouds. “I think you are probably the sweetest person ever” I answered. I waited for his response but when he didn’t I looked down at him. He had fallen asleep in the flowers. I smiled to myself. I picked him up and carried him inside the house. When I walked to the door, Ella saw the sleeping Andy in my arms and she opened it and let me in.

“So how are things going?” Ella asked. “I think that he is starting to open up to me. God I love him so much” I answered. Ella nodded. “I know you do Ash. Just keep up what you are doing with him and he’ll fall for you too” Ella answered with a smile. I smiled too and carried him up the stairs. Ella followed and showed me the room where Andy would be staying. She opened the door and we walked in. She pulled the covers open and I laid him in the bed and covered him up. “I’ll leave you two alone for a little while” She answered with a sly smile. I watched as she walked out of the room. When I was sure that she was gone I closed the door and sat down in the chair that was next to his bed. I picked up his hand and kissed it gently. I sat there for hours just watching the most beautiful boy in the world sleep.
